Raised in a conservative Christian worldview that viewed science as the enemy (and viewed women as little more than wives and mothers), Haley Cole shocked everyone by falling in love with physics and computer programming at a young age. Despite what some friends or family expected, her scientific passions and career turned out not to be “a phase,” as she now studies space radiation and plans to continue learning (and working) all her life.

Inspired by her journey leaving evangelicalism, she uses her voice to promote critical thinking and intellectual freedom.
